My deepest sympathies are extended to the Hansen family. I am very saddened to hear of Gregg’s passing. Although he may be gone from here, he will never leave in spirit. Many valued Stucki customers (TTX, CSX Transportation, Florida East Coast Railroad, Bombardier Capital, Johnstown America, etc) have requested I additionally relay their sincerest condolences to the Hansen family. It is obvious that the extent of his influence will long be remembered by all.

Gregg will always be thought of as a devout humanitarian. He took time to listen, share a laugh, work out together, and be a compassionate friend. He made time for everyone, having set one of the finest leadership examples in this company and the railroad industry. His fearless approach to his illness has earned my deepest respect for his unwavering faith. I know none better.

To the Hansen family,

From everyone at Old Head Golf Links in Ireland you have our deepest sympathy. What a wonderful man. We will miss his smiling face coming through our doors. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten and we are sure he will return to Old Head in spirit.

You are all very much in our prayers.

I remember Gretchen and Gregg coming to Saks Hair Salon to have their hair done many years ago, and I am very saddened to hear that Gregg has passed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hansen family.

Gretchen . . .

When I visited with Gregg, I'll never forget his question to me: "Why would I pray to be healed when I know where I'm going is such a better place?"

WOW! Rather than holding onto this world and all of its toys, Gregg knew that to "live is Christ, and to die is gain."

After Gregg assured me that he was in fact praying for his healing, he answered his own question this way: "I do pray to be healed——so that it would bring Jesus the glory."

Finishing well, that's what Gregg did. And, in so doing, he reminded me to keep my priorites straight: this life is ultimately about preparing to spend eternity with Jesus.

Leticia joins me in praying that the peace and presence of our Risen Savior comforts you now and in the days ahead.

Gretchen, my husband worked in the plant in McKees Rocks for 7 years and he and Greg talked Hockey as well as business. We loved the company picnics at Moon Park. Greg cabitz'd with the workers and families as if we were family. What a nice man. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Gretchen, While you do not know me, I remember both Gregg and his sister Natalie through a youth group in the Ben Avon area called T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R. Gregg was a very caring person and always had time to listen and help those in need. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I have fond memories of Gregg and Gretchen at Allegheny Country Club during the holidays, specifically for A. Stucki Christmas parties. Gregg always had a smile for everyone and he had a great sense of humor. My favorite memory is joining Gregg and Gretchen and another couple at the Pittsburgh Fish Market then seeing James Taylor at Heinz Hall.
