Glenda and I both recall the same fond memories of the campling trips and having Bill & Gary, Judy Thompson and Glenda & I all gather at Hap & Paulines house was great fun for all of us. I especially remember what must have been one Easter with Kathy running around in the back yard with a frilly dress on. The boys teased the girls, but we secretly loved it! I guess Bill and Gary were probably my first crushes. Later I did move on to boys I wasn't related to, but did love those guys. Bill always seemed like the strongest, most controlled person I knew and I really looked up to him. He was the big brother I never had and I will always carry a special place in my heart for him. My sympathy is with you all...Corky, Leah, Kathy and the whole family. We love you all...we are family! Janice Lane Snider

What a wonderful obit!! Only our Bill could handle such a thing. I have such wonderful, wonderful fond memories of all the times we spent camping together with Hap/Pauline/Bill/Gary and later, Kathy. Bill & Gary would always pick on us girls (me, my sister and other cousin, Judy) on those memorable trips. I am so glad he never lost that love of life and travel. Max and I were so blessed to be able to visit with them in Bakersfield before they moved to Salem. Our love and sympathy go out to Corky, Leah & Kathy during this time.

Glenda Lane Skinner, remembering one of my favorite cousins!!!!!
