Yetta was grandmother's sister and although I hadn't seen her for many, many years, I have warm memories from my childhood of a loving and laughing lady. I'm sorry I didn't have the opportunity to see her again.

Yetta was one of the loveliest, most interesting people I have ever known. I always enjoyed hearing the remarkable and compelling stories of her lifetime, and I loved her so much. In my visits with her I could sense how wonderful her whole family is, and I fell in love with all of them. I also grieve for them because I know what a great loss they have suffered. But I also know that they were very fortunate to have had a matriarch with such dignity, class, personality and love. I learned so much from her and will always keep her close to my heart. My sincere condolences.
