I met Yolanda at Cornell in 1990-1991. I remember watching lots of Women´s gymnastics videos with her. We watched Betty Okino and cheered her on.
I´ll never forget a conversation we had about race as it changed MY world view. She challenged my thinking.
I miss her.

Mrs. Edna and Family... Death leaves a heartache no one can heal - Love leaves memories no one can steal. May the memories of your beloved daughter and God's love give you comfort and mend your wounded heart,
God's love,
Eugenia

Yolanda was a beautiful person and a light in the world. I hope that her loving memory as a daughter and friend light the way to peace for those closest to her.
