My deepest sympathies to the Loo family. I remember Mr. Loo being so hospitable and inviting me to join family meals. The scholarship is a fitting tribute to a loving father.

My condolences to the Loo family. I met Mr. Loo a few years ago in Anaheim. He was visiting with Mrs. Loo and Minnie to attend Adam´s graduation. I met him that one time. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him again and know him better- he had quite the story to tell. He will surely be missed by family and friends.

Sincere condolences to the Loo Family and to the many friends of York. What a wonderful story of life! A story of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. The lifelong thirst for knowledge is a wonderful example for all of us to follow. We are all grateful for the contributions to humanity by York and Lily and the good work of the family lives on.

So sad to learn of this tragic loss for all the Loo family, and for all of us who have had the great privilege to know and love your wonderful parents for so long. York and Lily were always so very kind to me ever since we first met almost 50 years ago. They have such a remarkable life story. And they leave such an outstanding legacy.
I will never forget their warm hospitality while a grad student at Berkeley, and later on whenever I visited San Francisco. They always made me feel like an honorary member of the Loo family.
They raised an absolutely amazing family, setting a shining example for future generations to come.
No matter when, you are never ready to say goodbye to your parents. May York rest in peace, and as we Greeks say, may his memory be eternal.
