LAHOUD, YOUSSEF SALIM Grand Blanc Age 74, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint, Father Pierre Bassil officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 12-2pm and 4-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. An Incense Service will be held 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Lahoud will be at the church 10am Tuesday until the time of the service. Youssef was born in Sebhel, Lebanon on January 1, 1940, the son of Salim and Fay (Lahoud) Lahoud. He loved cooking, gardening, people and his family. Surviving are wife, Renee Aboujamra Lahoud; children, Augette Lahoud Saub and spouse James, Alain Lahoud and wife Keri, and Lena Lahoud; grandchildren, Vanessa, James and Anthony Saub, Jonathan Lahoud, and Paris Lahoud. The family extends a thank you to family and friends for all their help while he was going through his illness. He was preceded in death by his son, Milad Lahoud and parents, Salim and Fay.
