Yvette Rose Gervais Brissette, 63, of Richardsville, died Friday, May 21, 2004 in Culpeper Regional Hospital, Culpeper. Born in Ware, Mass on January 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Gerard "Kiser" Gervais and Rita Riendeau Gervais. She was a 1958 graduate of Ware High School and served as a nurse's aide at a Mary Lane Hospital in Ware, Mass., prior to moving to Virginia. She worked as a sales clerk at Aides Discount store until it closed and was also a sales clerk for the Culpeper Cooperative for the past nine years. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church of Lignum. Survivors include her husband of 43 years Thomas J. "Tom" Brissette of Richardsville; a daughter Cara Brissette of Richardsville and her fiancé, Frank Winkler of Culpeper; three sons, Alan Brissette and his significant other Nancy of Richardsville, Todd Brissette of Lake Anna and Craig Brissette and his wife Elaine of Culpeper; a sister, Gloria Dineen and her husband Robert of Ware, Mass.; a step-mother, Donna Gervais of Ware, Mass.; a granddaughter, Kadesha Brissette of Richardsville and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held May 25 at 2 p.m. at the Clore-English Funeral Home with the Rev. Lois Phemiser and the Rev. Bob Regan officiating. Interment followed in the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lignum. The family suggests memorials be made in her name to the Richardsville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad, 29361 Eley's Ford Rd., Richardsville, Va. 22736 or the Hopewell United Methodist Church, P. O.
