I didn't know Zach personally but I saw his story as told by his sister Carrie on a recent talk show. I am a big supporter of our Military and wanted to come here and leave my condelences to his family. His story and life touched me. Tommorrow is the one year anniversary of his passing, just wanted to say Thank you Zach for your service to our country. May God Bless each member of the Hartwell family. Zach is not forgotten and from what I have heard and read about him had a beautiful life, was living his dream and touched the life of many with his laughter and light. There have been so many times where we would hang out and talk. You were the only dude I could talk to for hours and it would end in a wrestling match. Oh how I miss the arm bars, smokey bad breath in my face, and let's not forget the wedgies! Id always win tho cause you would tire out before me. When I think of you these are the times I miss most. Rest well brother.

Sweet Zac, you are missed by so many- an example to all of us you lived life everyday to its fullest.

It's so crazy to not talk to or see someone for 7 to 8 years and to be impacted by their passing...that is the kind of effect that Zac had on people. I cannot remember him ever not smiling or developing something crazy to "raise hell". This tradegy just does not seem fair. You will be missed by many. RIP shipmate and thank you for making the Dirty D that much more exciting! My heartfelt condolances and sympathy to your loved ones. I am sure the loss will be felt for a life time, but I send prayers that their pain eases with time.
