Zachary A. Lammers

I am sorry for the loss of a wonderful individual, I had the pleasure of working with Zach for a few months, and he would always make me a laugh, he knew my weakness for chocolate and just a few weeks ago when he was in Toronto, he made sure that he bought me a few bars, to bribe me he said. We talked about family a lot, as my family is all in the UK and US, and he told me that the most important thing in life is family and I know that he loved you all so much. Zach, I miss talking to you and your great sense of humour. You are in my prayers and in my hindu language we say - Aap Man Shanti which means Rest in Peace.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you gone, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Zachary was a student of mine in 4th grade. He was bright, funny, athletic and a role model. Over the years I have thought of him often. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He made the world a better place.

I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express it. Zack will always be a part of what your family is made of. He brought so much pride to your family with his many accomplishments and loving role he displayed as grandson, son, brother and friend to many. Nothing can change that. I could see Yumi and Gabe's eyes light up when they would talk about whatever he was up to. He lived a blessed life and did everything he set out to do while here. Heaven has a new warrior to fight the good fight and I'm sure he will be the best one for the job.

I was so saddened to hear of this tragedy. I still remember Zach as my wonderful and bright sixth grade student. I will always remember how kindly you treated me when my own husband was ill. May God comfort and bless you.

Zach was a great role model and special part of the Lockport/Homer community. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Rest in peace #11.

Zach was a student in my English class at Lockport HS. I remember him well and the high quality of his mind, his character, and his work. So sorry to see this news. My sympathies to all his family.

We will never understand why the Good Lord takes the young but I do know that The Lord loved him more and He will reveal himself along the way. Stay strong in faith and know that each day gets better. Zach will never be forgotten and I remember the first time I met him on the football field in Amherst and his smile from that moment will always remain with me.

Although I only met him 3 times, he made a lasting impression and hearing of his passing has truly impacted me and many other co-workers. When I think of Zach, I do believe in the word beloved. We worked together for 7 months on a company project and I can't forget how kind, reasonable, business minded and caring he was. It was difficult to comprehend that he was only 27 due to the maturity he displayed.
