It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Zachary Brett Messinger, of North Wales, PA, who passed away at his home on 12/22/2024 at the age of 40. Zach was born on 02/11/1984 in Norristown, PA to Craig and Marsha Messinger.

Zach was an incredibly funny, kind, loving and intelligent person who loved his wife, family, friends, his dogs, the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Flyers. He grew up in the beautiful neighborhood of Elkins Park, PA and spent his summers at camp and his spare time playing hockey at Old York Road Skating Club. After high school, Zach moved to Israel and spent 3 years abroad before returning to PA. He had a brilliant mind and could build any gadget from scratch, which became an avid hobby of his. He worked for the past 8 years at Costco, where he met his loving wife, Lindsey. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and generosity.

Zach is survived by his wife Lindsey (Bowie) Messinger, his mother Marsha (Kaufmann) Messinger, his sister Mandy Messinger and her wife Lauren Veteri and his nephew, Ashton Veteri. He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Messinger.

A memorial service will be held on 12/31/2024 at 12pm at Roosevelt Memorial Park, located at 2701 Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose, PA. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Zach's life. Donations may be made to NAMI or any organization of donor's choice in Zach's memory.
