ZACHARY "ZACH" CHARLES MORITZ
June 6, 1988 ~ August 5, 2015
Zach Moritz was born in Cincinnati, OH and arrived in Vancouver, WA in June of 1992.
He graduated from Columbia River High School in 2006 and from Boise State University in 2011.
He had been playing basketball in Denmark when he contracted Lyme disease in January 2013. Zachary had been fighting Lyme and dealing with it's complications since March of 2014.
He was a beloved son and brother,
and a good friend to have.
Zach is survived by his father and mother, John and Beth Moritz; and sister, Gabby Moritz, all of Vancouver, WA.
There will be a service in Celebration of Life at Columbia River High School at 1:30p.m. on Sun., Sept. 20th.
Donations in Zach's name can be made to www.namiswwa.org or www.ilads.org.
Arrangements entrusted to Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

I am so very sorry to hear of Zach's passing. Such vivid memories of my son playing basketball for Skyview when Zach played for CR. I remember he was a really nice young man with a wonderful family. I will keep your family in my prayers.
