Stephani, I don't know if you remember me. I am an old friend of Avis and Chris...Ian and my son Anthony are dear friends...I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't imagine the pain you must be going thru. My mother passed away a few months ago, and she requested a reading at her funreal - it's from a Rosamunde Pilcher book called "September". It's towards the end of the book. Try to get your hands on it - I read it often - it gives great peace. My prayers are with you.

We are in India as we heard this awful news of the death of your beloved son. We wish there was something that all those who love you and him could do to make it better but of course nothing can replace such a terrible loss. In a few days we will be in Haridwar and Rishikesh at the headwaters of the Holy Ganges where every night and every morning tens of thousands of people from around the world come to do Aarti, a kind of prayer where holy fires are lit and prayers are sung and thousands of people lift their voices to the rising or setting sun. Each lights a little fire in a banana leaf boat with flowers and sends it down the rushing holy river with a prayer or a wish. We will send our love to you all and wishes for happy memories.

Dear family of Zach,
I send my deepest sympathies to you. I worked with Zach at Coloredge and we have kept up our friendship since then. He was such an intelligent and humble person, with a sharp wit and a deep sense of ethics. He was great at connecting people and always had time to help others, perhaps to a fault. I will remember him fondly.

For me Zach always wanted to make me work harder. He was very smart and loved to share his love of pre-press. He was my Star employee ...I will miss him

Working with Zach was challenging, rewarding and a tremendous honor.
He was with no doubt one of the most original and talented people I have ever met, our late nights at the office often ended with cocktails, cigarettes and great conversation. It goes without saying that he will be missed, for the void he leaves can never be filled. My heart goes out to his family and my memories will forever remain fond.

I worked with Zach some years ago. Throughout my career, I've had the honor of working with many truly talented and hardworking people. However, Zach stood out as somebody special. He was the sort of person who left an impression, even upon those who only knew him briefly. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.

To the family of Zach Siegel-
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I had the privilege of working with him not only for the magazines we produced, but also for my personal work. He would always find the time to help everyone.
He will be sorely missed.

A note to the family of Zach Siegel –
All of his friends and colleagues at Wenner Media are bereft over your and our loss.
Zach was an extremely talented artist. Dedicated to his career and to the art directors and photo editors whose jobs he simplified by effortlessly plying his craft. His skill was remarkable. But more importantly, Zach was a beautiful, sweet, soul. Kind, exceedingly modest for one so talented, generous with his knowledge and his time, so intelligent in so many disciplines, yet so humble…it was hard not to love him. And we all do. We are enriched for having known Zach and will sorely miss him.
