My first memory of Zack was him bringing in his new Stratocastor guitar and playing solo let it be in 4th grade. I went out and bought a Les Paul and we started hanging out writing music together for 30 years +. He was a great great song writer. I still have tapes of both of us playing our originals on his 8 track recorder. We would play at my house and one would play drums the other guitar depending on the song. I don't think either one of us ever got tired of writing and play original songs. We both devoted ourselves to musical instruments for our career. We started the Music Link.... and developed the first acoustic guitar to be sold on ebay (Johnson). We were wholesalers and our best years we controlled 25% of the acoustic guitar market in the U.S. We started in my garage and eventually took over 120,000 sq ft warehouse. When we were not playing music were where either bass fishing with a bass boat he built or back packing. He was one in a million. I never met anyone who could come close to his wit or sense of humor. Good bye my friend.

Zack was the smartest guy I ever met. We played music from 16 up until we were in our mid 30's. We then went on and started our company (the Music Link). After 10 years Zack when on to open up his own Music Store. We were avid back packers and enjoyed going almost every month in the summer.
