I heard Dan Brennan mention this hero on the radio this morning. Came in to check it out. Prayers for comfort for everyone who loves him.

My prayers go to the family at this sad time. He and burner will be greatly missed.

My family and I are grateful to you for your service to America. It is so sad that your life was cut short by cancer - a terrible disease that has stricken so many. Always an amazing shipmate I would here him walk into the berthing and begin to uplift the spirits of everyone around him with his great sense of humor and hilarious jokes.

I also remember him working hard and always lighting up the room with his smile. He was truly an amazing man. I'm sure he touched many others in his service to our great country. You will be missed "Ill Mill"

I thank God for heroes like Zach and all the other men and women who serve God and the USA.

Deep condolences to the entire family.

I knew Zack through my son, Chris. They met during first year college in Jackson, MS. When on occasion in Jackson checking on Chris, I had the pleasure to meet Zack as a 'diner guest'. Chris informed me that he had enjoyed several diners with Zack and family during football season. Thank you.
Over the years, I kept up with Zack through Chris. Highlighted by talking with Zack and Chris when they would patch me into a three way call.
My heart is heavy. I count it a Joy to have know Zack. I pray for the family during this time.

My heart aches for you, Kim, Dan, Joseph and all of Zach’s family and friends. The memorial service was a beautiful, uplifting tribute to a life well-lived in service to God and country. ONLY God knows why this life was cut short and my prayer is for comfort fort all of us who grieve for him. May You, Zach, Rest In Peace. You, who dedicated your life to peace for others.

Zack was in our daughter’s class at McGill-Toolen and only met him briefly. We have heard stories of him and what a great person he was to all his friends. When the group of ladies would get together for the Holidays he would drop in to say hi and get a hug. Always first class and he was well loved by everyone. Thank you Zack Miller for honoring our Town, State, and Country with your dedication and service. You will not be forgotten! May God lift your family and friends up in love, peace and comfort.

I never met Zach, but felt that I knew him through his friend Chris Hallmark and Chris’ father, John. I often prayed for his safety and gave thanks for his selfless service to our great nation. Our nation is only great because of God, and people like Zach. Often we tarnish the label “Hero” on those who are unworthy, only for the true heroes to remain nameless. Zach was and is a hero! My prayers for God’s Peace, Presence, Power for the family. Y’all raised a remarkable man. God rest his soul!
