Zaequan Amonte Ronteze Deloatch, a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend was born on August 10, 2002 and was called home to glory on February 12, 2020 at the young age of 17.
Zaequan along with his two sisters Erieonna (Yana) and Nyanna (Nana) were raised, loved and adopted by their grandmother (Connie) at a very young age. Quan had an infectious smile and sense of humor that would captivate anyone he came in contact with. He was also very protective of his family. He absolutely loved his family especially his grandma Connie. Quan had a strong work ethic when he started to work at the age of 16 and a passion for music and fashion.
Zaequan was preceded in death by his loving father, Ronteze Andrew Deloatch and survived by his grandmother Connie Deloatch from Fuquay, mother Darryl McCreary from Greensboro , maternal grandmother Danielle McCreary from Pittsburgh, paternal grandfather Calvin Martin from Greensboro, 5 sisters, Erieonna Spinks, Nyanna Deloatch both from Fuquay Varina, Nielle Garner, Desire and Mi’Laysia Shoffner from Greensboro, 3 uncles, Amonti Deloatch from Raleigh, Previs Deloatch from Greensboro and Shaquille West from Pittsburgh. Two special great grandmothers, Addie Pope(Grandma Lee) and Florence Martin(LaLa). Three very close cousins/brothers, Saiquan Jones, Davontay and Amanti Deloatch, a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
Although Zaequan only had 17 short years on this earth, the great memories that he left behind for his family will forever rest in our hearts.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Trice Funeral Home, 127 N. West Street, Fuquay Varina, NC. Visitation with the family begins at 12:30 pm followed by the service at 1:00 pm.
Services are entrusted to Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., Greensboro, NC.

3 years now and I swear it still feels like yesterday. Everyday I wish I could pick up the phone and head your voice one more time. I haven´t been the same since you left but I know you´re still with me. I love you so much keep watching over me.

I lit this candle today in memory of you. You went too soon, it's been a year now. I hope his family & friends are okay during this time.
