Zaezeung Kim Obituary
Born on February 21, 1928, outside the United States, Dr. Kim's early life laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to learning and service. His journey eventually brought him to Wisconsin, where he became a respected physician in Racine. Over the course of his long and distinguished career, he cared deeply for his patients and earned their trust through his unwavering dedication and gentle manner.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Kim shared his knowledge with future generations of doctors as a faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His passion for medicine extended beyond the clinic and classroom-he viewed healing as both a science and an art.
Dr. Kim was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend, Youngju Kim. Together they built a life grounded in love and mutual respect.
He is survived by his daughters Maria (Brian) and Keungsuk; and by his grandchildren Olivia, Nick, and Joe. His family remembers him as a steady presence whose wisdom and warmth enriched their lives.
Outside of medicine and family life, Dr. Kim found joy in nature. He loved taking long walks outdoors, observing birds and flowers with quiet appreciation. Reading was another lifelong passion-books were constant companions that fed his curiosity and kept his mind sharp well into his later years.
A private memorial service was held in Oak Creek on April 10 to honor Dr. Kim's life.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who follow in his footsteps. A Funeral will be held on April 15, 2025, from 12:30 AM to 01:30 AM at Pinelawn Memorial 10700 W Capitol Drive
