Matante Zea, you are the reason I have such rich and warm memories of my childhood Christmases. Our family anxiously anticipated the exciting trips by horse and sleigh to Plamondon from Venice. When we arrived, we always felt so welcomed into your home. We were immediately enfolded into your family where we delighted in the singing, feasting, (you were such an incredible cook!) and the annual reconnection with our cousins. Your ready smile and open loving heart will always be remembered. My condolences to the family.

I am struck by what an incredible loss we are experiencing but how our lives were enriched by such a beautiful, dynamic and inspirational little woman! A mosiac of hugs, chocolate cake & raspberries, coffee in the kitchen and rich discussions of life are intricately linked with memories of a fabulously beautiful Memere. Her laughter is the underscore beind all of these snapshots. She will be so missed.
Hugs, kisses and condolences to all who she touched.
