Years later, I still think of you. Remembering a kind hearted human, giving of himself, healing those you could. You are remembered by many.
Your love for your family, your wisdom for your patients, your friendship to your co- workers. You are not forgotten.

Since it is Yom Kippur, it is a good time to remember Zevi and other beautiful friends who have passed. It is a day to reconnect with their souls. I think about Zevi often, especially in the last few weeks, since my own daughter is busy studying to take her SAT test. Like her, I needed help understanding advanced Algegra, and Zevi always comes to mind. He helped me get through much of it, just because he was my friend. He was better in math than anyone I have seen in my lifetime. I remember that in 8th grade he knew how to measure distances to the stars! His genius still amazes me. He was probably the smartest person I ever knew, yet he was humble, funny, and always laughing. He went on to become a doctor, training at UCLA, and I went to USC and became a trial lawyer. But my special memories of our boyhood friendship will always be with me. Now, his wonderful soul is in the supernal world, watching over his wonderful family. I want to connect with him today. May God bless Zevi on this holy Jewish day, and bring his wife and children peace.

Mazel Tov, Zevi.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Kahn's passing. He truly was the best physician I and my son have ever had. I liked to think of him as a city country doctor.

My deepest condolonces are my memories of the tapes that were sent back and forth from Zadie and Bradley in Pittsburgh and Zevi on the tapes also. I still have those tapes of our childhood memories as first cousins of the Smith Family.
Thanks and my love goes out to his family.

Dr. Kahn was our physician since our arrival in the USA. A Dr. with the bedside manner of an angel. Always supportive and helpful. Dr. Kahn has been missed for the last 3 1/2 years and will always be remembered for his kindness to his patients.

I think my favorite memory of Zevi will always be the Friday evening when, even though speech was a struggle, he sang the Shabbat for me. He was an amazing and courageous man. "Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha'olam" I will never forget it, and I will never forget you.

Dr Kahn was my Doctor for more than 13 years. His care and compassion was remarkable. He will be missed. May his family be comforted by the knowledge that he helped many individuals like myself. There is a saying "if someone saves one life it is though he saved the universe". Well he saved many universes!! Yehi Zichro Baruch!

Zevi and I attended UC Santa Cruz as undergraduates and shared a great love of music. I remember him as brilliant, musically talented, and always interesting. By coincidence, we both attended graduate school in Los Angeles and I vividly remember the "behind-the-scenes" tour of the UCLA medical school that he gave me(with much humor interjected! We have been out of touch for many years, but I have never forgotten Zevi. It was pure intuition today to google his name and find the sad news. I send my condolences.

Where to begin? Zevi and his family are part of my earliest memories, as our parents were close friends long before we were born. We were southern Californians and they were northern, yet they always felt like family. In spite of the years we were out of touch, I knew David, Zevi, and Joel were still part of us. Zevi was the kindest, gentlest, compassionate, and smartest person, and I am so deeply saddened by his illness and loss. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family - with much love, Ellen

Zevi was my boyhood friend in San Jose. I have not seen him since I went away to college, bit he was one of the sweetest guys I have ever known. He was also truly brilliant. Without Zevi I never would have passed geometry or made it through Hebrew School. God bless you Zevi. I always knew you were special.

I knew Zevi through his wife Karen and daughter Rachel and I visited a few times through his illness. He never ceased to amaze me. He dealt with his illness with such an amazing spirit. I feel so blessed to have known him and so sad for his loss.
