I shall always remember Zona's wonderful smile. The two of you made a great team and the relationship you shared was so very special. I know how much you're going to miss her as will all of us who were blessed to have known her. I'll be keeping you and all of your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Marla,Griffin,Sara,I am truly sorry about Zona. I know she loved each one of you with all her heart and soul and I hope her smile and laughter with be with you forever. She was one of my favorite cousins who I admired.I have prayed that god with take away your pain and sorrow and fill you all with peace and understanding.

I am so sorry for the lost of your dear loved one. It's comforting
to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved
one is something we cannot get use to. The Bible gives us hope
that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrender his soul for many. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.

I met Zona after I began working at Hamilton Center with Sara -almost 11 years ago. From the first time I met Zona I knew that she was a very special person to Sara. As time went by and Angie and I spent time hangin' out with Sara and Zona we often commented on how "spoiled" Sara was by Zona. Anyone who knew this couple understood the love, respect, and admiration that they had for one another. I will never forget Zona's smile or the way her face lit up the first time me and my family attended church services for the first time at Central Christian Church. Thank you for the memories and for sharing Zona with all of us.

Sarah and Marla:

For many years until I moved from Terre Haute I did Zona and Sarah's hair. You both were the nicest most stable people I knew. Zona never seemed more happy than when she met you. Zona was truly a great person and so are you. I have thought about both of you often through the years and I'm thankful that I got to know you and Zona in the short time that we spent together. The world will be a sad place without her. Thank you both for coming to my wedding it meant so much to me. Marla, Thank you for introducing me to Zona. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Zona was a wonderful person with a warm heart and an infectious smile. She was genuinely concerned about our family and friends.

I am truely sorry for your lose. I only met Zona a few times but just in those few times I could tell she was a wonderful person. My prayers are with you.

It is hard to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I can only imagine how difficult this is. I feel sorrow for you and for Zona's parents and other family. I only met her briefly at your father's funeral. But, I know she was a light in your life. I am so sorry that she is gone.

Zona was a kind and generous person. Her smile will be missed but not forgotten.

What a cheerful person Zona always was! All the softball games and tournaments we shared, I can always hear someone yelling when Zona got up to bat," its the Dreaded Zona Rae". Will miss her so much...she was truly a "Rae" of sunshine.

I am deeply affected by Zona's death. I have known her for many years; we had a mutual bond of respect & understanding. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I will truly miss her and my condolences extend to her family.

I am so sorry that Zona has been taken from us, but I take comfort that her soul is now in God’s hands. I have shed many tears, but her spirit is my heart and I hold her memory dear. May the Holy Spirit console Sara and her family as they journey through this time of need. I now pray for Sara as her body and soul mends.

Every memory I have of Zona she has a smile on her face. I only have good memories of her. She is a kind soul. Sara yours is truly a relationship of love and companionship that only a few are lucky to have. My thoughts will be with you.

We are all thinking of you. Amber and I say prayers for you throughout the day. We are very sad and heartbroke. The two of you are truely an inspiration to all who know you. We are glad you two touched our lives and our girls lives. You are forever in our hearts.

I can't express how I feel about this tragic incident. Needless to say, I was shocked and had to get away by myself and walk. Zona was one of the most upbeat and happy people I knew. I will keep Sara in my thoughts and prayers.

Sara, I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Zona a couple times but she was one of those people who made you feel like you knew her a lifetime. God Bless you and your families.

I knew Zona from highschool; she went to Brazil and I went to Staunton and we competed against each other in sports. Even though we were rivals Zona was always the friendliest person there. She encouraged everyone to play their best. Over the years I would see her around Brazil and she would always stop and ask how I was doing. Not often do you meet someone that remembers a rival from another school, but she did. And for her kindness and smile I remember her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I want to extend my condolences to Zona's family and friends. She was a wonderful person.

I've known Zona for years, since she began attending Central Christian Church. She was someone who, no matter the mood, looked as if she could laugh at any moment. There was always a glow of inner peace with Zona and it lifted your spirit just to see her. She is very very much missed already and her friends are in shock over the loss. Even knowing she has moved back home to God, she is missed here. We love both her and Sara and our hearts go out to Sara in this time of grief.

If words could only express my thoughts and prayers for Zona's partner and family...

Both Zona and Sara provided me with a tremendous amount of support when I came to terms with my sexuality. Again, both willingly accepted the responsibility of being a big sister to my oldest, Jessica.

I can never thank you enough for what you have meant to me and my family.
