Anna Heisler Obituary
Anna Mae Sherrard was born in Tecumseh on Jan. 23, 1949. She was the daughter of Harold and Dorotha (VanWinkle) Sherrard. Anna married David Allen Heisler on Nov. 4, 1972.
For more than 20 years she worked as the manager for the Perky Pantry. In 1985, Anna earned her diploma from Dundee Community Schools. She was well-known for her sarcasm, humor and uncanny ability to speak her mind.
Her passing was preceded by her parents; husband; brothers, Elwood Sherrard and Hugh Sherrard; and sisters, Katherine McKenzie and an infant baby sister.
To cherish her memory she leaves a daughter, Jaclyn (Christopher) Niles; sisters, Ellen Lickfelt and Sharron Brubaker; sisters-in-law, Barb (Steve) Nagy and BethAnn Shidler; brother-in-law, Michael (Cheryl) Heisler; and five grandchildren.
Friends may gather from 11 a.m. until a graveside service at noon on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Maple Grove Cemetery (intersection of Brewer and Davis Road) in Dundee. The Rev. Fritz Kruse of North Rome Baptist Church will officiate. Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh St., 734-529-3156, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
