Daniel Semark Obituary
He was born on March 10, 1940, in Clinton, the son of the late George Benjamin and Flossie Mae (Denny) Semark. On June 9, 1962, he married Judith Ann Wiedmayer at St. James United Church of Christ in Saline, and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2017.
Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Johnson Controls and was a long-time member of the Clinton United Church of Christ. Daniel loved golfing, bowling and enjoyed being out in the woods hunting and fishing.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Mindy Ann (Jason) Howard of Adrian; two grandsons, Cooper Jason Howard and Brock Robert Howard; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel G. Semark, three brothers and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at Clinton United Church of Christ with the Rev. Diane White officiating, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Military honors, under the auspices of American Legion Post #176, will be conducted after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used in his memory. Arrangements are under the care of the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered for the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
