TECUMSEH - David Keith Fritz, age 68, of Tecumseh passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
He was born Dec. 10, 1952, in Tecumseh the son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Kronberg) Fritz. David graduated in 1972 from Tecumseh High School. Growing up, David attended the Tipton Community Church and the past few years, he was attending Grace Point Evangelical Church in Adrian.
David worked as a farmer on the Fritz Family Farm. He was a member of the Round Top 4-H Club and the North Adrian Grange. He retired from Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh and later went to work at Lenawee Hills cemeteries in Adrian and Tecumseh.
David is survived by his siblings, Richard A. (Marjean) Fritz of North Muskegon, Shirley (John) Polhemus of Adrian and Sharon (Douglas) Bergman of Muskegon; several loving nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, Robert "Bob" Fritz and a great-nephew, Kevin John Polhemus.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used in David's honor. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home.
