Phyllis Henry
Onsted - Phyllis J. Henry, age 89, of Onsted, died peacefully early Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born July 2, 1932, in Detroit to Gordon and Kathleen (Thayer) Larsen. On September 5, 1952, she married Richard Henry. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2013. Phyllis had been employed by Kresge's for 16 years. She was a member of the Tipton Community Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, reading and sewing.
Phyllis is survived by two sons, David (Dorothy) Henry of Hudsonville, Michigan and Robert Henry of Adrian; a daughter, Sandra (Kevin) Macham of Tecumseh; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Debra Henry and her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Cleo Larsen.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Erik Hickman officiating. Cremation will follow and entombment of cremains will be in the columbarium at Brookside Cemetery. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com.
