Ruth Turski Obituary
She was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Addison, the daughter of George and Mabel (Woods) Roberts. Ruth taught more than 40 years, mainly elementary and Head Start, at Madison schools. Her love in life was children and conversation and she loved caring for people. Everyone loved her company.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Linda (Porter) Rosacrans and her husband, Ned, of Tecumseh and Barbara (Porter) Oliver of Port Orange, Fla.; four grandchildren, Tammy (Mike) Smith, Terry (Theresa) Stout, Shellie (Don) Grayer and Stacey Polhemus; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; one great-grandson, Kevin Polhemus; and two husbands, Richard Ganun and Melvin Turski.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m Sunday, June 9, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Highway, Adrian. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lenawee, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Heart Association. www.PurseFuneralHome.com.

Aunt Ruthie as your on your way to Your new journey in life will be meant by many loved ones with open arms to give you a tour and hugs. Will be sadly missed by your family and friends here on earth but will join you at some time.
