Charles "Chuck" Kenneth Lee, 85, passed away on November 21, 2025. Chuck was born to Charles W. "Bud" and Helen E. (Wrobetz) Lee on July 17, 1940 in
Denton, Montana. He attended school in Everson, Montana and graduated from Denton High School in 1959. He continued his education at Northern Montana College and played football for two years at Northern.
Chuck enlisted in the Army Reserves and served from 1962 to 1968 in the Motorpool Division. In May of 1966, Chuck was united in marriage to Dolly Mae Tyson at the First Christian Church in
Lewistown, Montana. Chuck farmed his whole life on the family farm in Everson. In the winter he worked at Music Implement, Farmers Co-op, and did mechanic work at his shop in Denton.
Chuck was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Denton, member of the Denton Lions Club, Denton Rod and Gun Club, Western Star Lodge #104, Order of the Eastern Star, Fair Board, FSA Board, Denton School Board, Rural Fire Board, Traildusters Car Club, Shriners, and the Scottish Rite. He received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Services.
Chuck restored tractors, cars and a pick-up. He was a talented fabricator and mechanic making lots of farm machinery and equipment. He enjoyed target shooting, hunting, playing cards, coffee with his best friends, playing piano and accordion, and skiing. Chuck followed in his dad's footsteps by removing snow in Denton for over 30 years; he dedicated a large amount of his time and talents to the town of Denton. Chuck loved seeing and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dolly M. Lee; children, Jay Lee (Rhonda), Jerry Lee (Ranae) Jeff Lee (Debby), and Jackie Lee; grandchildren, CJ Lee, Cody Lee, Casey Lee, Chase Lee, Sean Lee, Chad Wilson, Susan Lee, Tyler Lee, Kyle Lee, Ally McBroom, and Zoey McBroom; great-grandchildren, Addilyn, Madison, Graceson, Miles, and Max; sister, Betty Span; niece, Helen Donier; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Helen; and mother-in-law, Ruthie Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 26th, 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Denton. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Denton Town Hall. Memorial donations are suggested to the Denton Rod and Gun Club, Denton Fire and Ambulance or CMMC Hospice.
