Clarence Corbin Crook

1940 - 2025

Clarence Corbin Crook, 85, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1940, in Lewistown, Montana, where he lived most of his life surrounded by family and friends.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Efton and Mildred (Broad) Crook; sisters, Doloris Vanek, Theresa Bachman, and Bernice Maas; and brother, Lloyd Crook. He is survived by his loving wife, Fran Crook; son Cody Crook (Janine); daughter, Jody Arndt (Michael); and cherished grandchildren, Eban Cook (Niki), Kayla Arndt, Trinity Lowrey, Talon Arndt (Summer), Aden Arndt, Tayven Crook, and Xander Toomey. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Jameson Crook, Lakelyn Crook, and Daisy June Crook; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.

Clarence spent his career as a grounds maintenance man for the Lewistown School District, where his hard work and humor left a lasting impression. Known for his quick wit, he was famous for offering, "Free haircuts on Fridays with the weed eater!" - a perfect reflection of his fun-loving spirit.

Above all, Clarence loved Jesus. His faith was a steady foundation throughout his life, and he lived it out through kindness, humility, and generosity. He found joy in the simple things- time with family, laughter with friends, and the peace that came from his relationship with the Lord. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we find comfort knowing he is home with his Savior.

No services will be held. Memorial donations can be made to CMMC Hospice or to the charity of your choice.
