Diane E. Fullerton
A memorial service for Diane Elaine Fullerton will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Westmark Evangelical Free Church in rural Loomis, Nebraska with Pastor Noah Tyler officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at Sandstrom Cemetery in rural Phelps County, Nebraska.
Diane Elaine Fullerton, 63 years of age, of rural Bertrand, Nebraska, passed away, on August 13, 2024, at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Diane was born in Galesburg, Illinois on January 16, 1961, the youngest of three children, born to Everett and Emma Jean (Morris) Breiner. She graduated from West Holt High School in Atkinson, Nebraska, with the class of 1979. Diane pursued higher education receiving an associate's degree from Central Community College.
On March 12, 1990, Diane started working for Wes Nelson at Phelps County Feeders and later Dale Klute after he purchased the feedyard. For the past several years Diane has also enjoyed working nights at Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege.
Diane got married in 1992 and was blessed with two children Rachael and Nathan.
She enjoyed collecting carousels and was a member of Westmark Evangelical Free Church.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Emma Jean Breiner; and her longtime boyfriend, Jim Grigsby.
Diane is survived by her two children: Rachael Fullerton of Louisville, Kentucky; and Nathan Fullerton of Bertrand; two brothers: David Breiner; Howard Breiner and his wife Sharon; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
There will be no viewing or visitation. The family is honoring Diane's wish for cremation.
Memorials in Diane's honor are suggested to the family for a later designation.
