LITTLE ELM, TX -- Alan F. Van Horn, age 74, passed away Nov, 1, at home, with family by his side.
Born on June 6, 1951, Alan was the son of Frank and Georgeann Van Horn. He graduated from Lima Senior High School. In 1997 he married his wife, Marsha. He was known for his humor, honesty, and willingness to help anyone. His kind heart left a lasting mark on everyone that knew him. Alan loved trips to the beach with Marsha, and visiting his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Marsha, sons Rick (Joanne), Greg (Megan), Bill (Brandi), and Deron (Lori) - 8 grandchildren, Emily, Tanner, Maddy, Aaron, Preston, Logan, Daxton, Kyson, and brother Randy Van Horn (Cindy), sister Vicki Vaden, and many nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life and interment will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, Ohio.
