AVERAL NICELY

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Averal S. Nicely, age 69, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Lehigh Regional Medical Center, Lehigh Acres, FL.

Averal was born May 15, 1946 in Waterloo, OH, to the late Clairel Clinton and Rose (Lemaster) Nicely. On September 9, 1968 he married Armida L. (Vasquez) Nicely who survives in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Averal retired from Fruehauf Corporation in Delphos, Ohio in 1991 and moved to Florida in 1993. He enjoyed sunsets and the beach.

He was blessed with three children, Warren L. (Tammy) Nicely of Medina, TN, L. Maria (Don) White of Archdale, NC, Teresa K. Nicely of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren, Kirsten Nicely, Christopher Nicely, Colton Nicely, Jasmine Brown, Ja'Kel Brown, Kathryn White and Olivia White; two step-grandchildren, Stephanie White and Dakota White, and a step great-grandson, Ewan Felder. Survivor's also include his brother, Dale E. Nicely of Lima.

He is preceded in death by, three brothers, Charles Ray Nicely, Paul Nicely, Justin Nicely and two sisters Grace Crist and Barbara Rodriguez.

Memorial services will begin 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tourette Association of America, Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com

My deepest sympathy to the Nicely family. The Nicelys were extremely supportive of their children's education. He was such a positive Dad and just a gentle giant.
