Barbara Graham Obituary
LIMA -- Barbara A. Graham, 88, of Lima passed away at 6:28 AM on Monday, May 8, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on September 30, 1934 in Hardin County to Dale and Doris (Tawney) Smith, who both preceded her in death. On September 29, 1963, she married Ronald Lee Graham, who preceded her in death on December 11, 2006.
Barbara was a member of Orange City United Methodist Church, Orange City, FL and a former member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, Lima and was active in both churches in the choir and playing the piano. She had worked as a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1991.
She loved music especially playing piano and played the saxophone in her high school band. She also enjoyed writing daily in her journal. She loved being social but above all she valued her family and the time they spent together.
Surviving are her daughter Cindy Joseph of Wapakoneta; her step daughter-in-law Daphne Graham of Spokane, WA; her step-son Keith (Gail) Graham of Lima; her step-daughter Sandra Graham of Lima; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brothers Ben (Sandra) Smith of Leipsic and James (Penni) Smith of Kenton
She was preceded in death by her son Craig Doyle; her son-in-law Jeffery E. Joseph; her step-son Ron Graham.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service at 4:00 PM.
Jim Parlette will officiate the services
Interment in Salem Westminster Cemetery will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
