KALIDA – Brian K. Schroeder, 47, of Kalida, died on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Mercy Health Putnam Medical Center, Glandorf. He was born November 19, 1975 in Lima to Alan and Janice (Maag) Schroeder. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Ft. Jennings. On August 12, 2005, he married Denise A. Eier, who survives in Kalida.
Other survivors include five children: Grace, Lucas, Ivan, Ella and Annelise Schroeder, all at home; three siblings: Eric (Brandi) Schroeder of Pickerington, Daryl (Ali) Schroeder and Lynn (Adam) Anspach, both of Ft. Jennings; and nieces and nephews: Jackson, Bella, Juliana, Emery, Madie, Josie, Jacob, Katie, Curt and Tyler.
Brian was an engineer for GROB, Bluffton. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, machinery, building, tinkering and fixing things. Brian loved his kids with all of his heart and enjoyed watching them in all of their activities. His favorite moments were spending time with family and friends.
Funeral Mass will begin 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Nathan Bockrath officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2 – 8 p.m., Thursday with a scripture service beginning at 1:45 p.m. at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Radio.
