CAROLYN ROGERS
LIMA — Carolyn Jean Rogers, age 83, of Lima died 9 a.m. Thursday Nov. 27 at her home. She was born Jan. 5, 1931 in Lima to the late Lester A. and Florence K. Stegman Fox. She married Kenneth Paul Rogers April 11, 1953 and he preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1997.
Mrs. Rogers had been a secretary for Vistron and SOHIO Chemical. She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church and graduated from Shawnee High School.
Survivors include 2 sons: Mark D. Rogers and Jon M. (Cathy) Rogers both of Lima, a daughter Susan Diane Rogers of Chicago, IL, 2 grandchildren: Nicole and Michael Rogers, 2 great grandchildren: Isiah Roby and Lani George and a brother-in-law Hilary Youngpeter of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a sister Marilyn I. Youngpeter.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8p.m., Sunday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday Dec. 1 at the funeral home with Rev. William Cronk officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Westside United Methodist Church.
