WAYNESFIELD — Cecil A Hendrickson age 81, of Waynesfield passed away 10:06 a.m., Wed. Feb. 14 at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born May 22, 1936 in Pineville, KY to the late Jay Matt Hendrickson and Annie Partin Mason. He married Dorothy M. Wells March 3, 1956 and she survives in Waynesfield.
Cecil had been a cement mason and retired from Peterson Construction after 28 years. He was a member of Cement Masons' and Plasterers' Local 886 of Toledo.
He loved music and dancing and to spend time outdoors but most of all with his family. Nothing brought him more joy than for the house to be full of family.
Additional survivors include children: Wade Hendrickson of Jackson Center, Jackie (Craig) Turner of Harrod, Terri (Michael) Savage of Medina and Renee Hendrickson of Waynesfield, grandchildren: Cassie (Shawn) Anderson, Jessica (Charles) Schulze, Heath (Amy) Turner, Tara Savage, Sarah Conley, Rachael Wilson, Zachary (Alicia) Hendrickson and Zalin Hendrickson; great grandchildren: Hannah & Carter Schulze, Tessa & Kaia Turner and Bailey Tapply, Ali Epperly and Wyatt Hardin; a brother Gene Hendrickson of Ottawa and a sister-in-law Linda Wood of Lima.
The family will receive friends 1-3 Monday Feb. 19 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will follow at 3 with Pastor Terry Brock officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in Fairmount Cemetery near Waynesfield.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lima Missionary Baptist Church and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com
