LIMA — David Wellington Corwin, 49, died on Monday, April 2, 2018, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.
David was born on November 20, 1968, in Lima, Ohio, to Eugene Corwin, he survives in Lima and Joan (Darling) Corwin, who preceded him in death.
David was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He was an avid reader, enjoyed movies and loved to cook. Spending time with his family, friends and pets was important to him.
He is survived by siblings, Doug (Genean) Corwin, Gwen (Terry) Stump, Daniel (Laura) Corwin, and Julie Sunderland, all of Lima, OH; twelve nieces & nephews and sixteen great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tom Sunderland.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father David M. Ross will officiate.
Burial of ashes will be in Gethsemani Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society, 3606 Elida Rd., Lima, Ohio 45807
