FT. WAYNE, IN -- David S. Lybarger, 93, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at home.
Born in Roundhead, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ora and Ruth (Sperry) Lybarger. David was the youngest of four children and grew up on farms near Roundhead and Buckland, Ohio. David was a 1950 graduate of Buckland High School and went on to serve his country in the US Air Force where he was stationed at Niagara Falls, New York. After he was honorably discharged David enrolled in Indiana Tech, studying electronics engineering while beginning his 33-year career at Magnavox Corp, Fort Wayne. He was also a past president of the New Haven Lion's Club. After retirement he remained active by maintaining his rental properties, collecting coins, traveling, and investing in the stock market.
He is survived by his niece, LuAnne Shelby; and nephews, Ned (Lee) Koenig and Lynn Koenig. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Roger Lybarger, Janet Koenig, and Marylou Fritz.
Funeral service is 2 pm Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd, 930 E., New Haven, IN with visitation one hour prior. Burial in Buckland Cemetery, Buckland, Ohio.

I remember Dave from when I worked at Magnavox, back in the 70´s and 80´s. He was so nice and will be missed.
