LIMA - Ms. Delores Reynolds, age 70 passed from this life on April 3, 2025, at 12:25 p.m. at her residence in Lima, Ohio.
She was born October 8, 1954, to the union of James Reynolds and Macie Lee Reynolds both parents preceded her in death.
Delores accepted Christ at a young age. Delores attended Eleventh Street Baptist Church under Reverend White. Delores loved Christ, and she loved singing and "Praising the Lord." Delores loved reading her Bible, and she definitely loved her old television shows such as Texas Walker Ranger, Murder She Wrote, and the Hallmark Movie Channel.
Delores loved her Children and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a genuine sweet person who put a smile on everyone's face that she encountered. She lit up the room with her presence. Delores was compassionate, she walked in all the fruits of the Sprit. Her love was unmatched.
Delores volunteered at the Cheryl Allen Center, and she was employed at Air Foil. She also worked at the Lima Convalescent Home and also worked at the prison doing janitorial work.
Delores leaves to cherish 3 daughters Priscilla (Anthony) Chandler of Lima, Ohio. LaShawnda Reynolds of Detroit Michigan, and TaMika (Meki) McMillian Sr. of Lima, Ohio. And her forever long love Lawrence Daniels.
Grandchildren: DeAngelo Cook, Deonjaique Reynolds, Tiera Henderson, Rayvon Holmen, Rayven Holmen, Pearl Reynolds, Meki McMillian, MeYonika McMillian, Mizhir McMillian, Ronae Reynolds, and 27 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 Son Cedric Reynolds, 1 Sister Dorothy Mangrum, 3 Brothers Emmanuel Reynolds, Willie Reynolds, and Robert Reynolds. 1 Grandson Delando M. Reynolds, 4 Nephews Kenneth Glenn, Anthony Brown, Alvin Glenn, and Tyrone "James" Reynolds.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 am at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries. Elder Ronald Fails to officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries, 2945 Wells Dr, Lima, OH 45804.
