COLDWATER — Dennis W. Ley, 52, died August 10, 2018, at his home.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

I just found out about Dennis' passing. He was a great supporter in the online running community. I realized I hadn't seen him around in a while and then discovered the sad news. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

I didnt know Dennis long, only around 1.5 months on MFP and Strava. he was incredibly supportive, an inspiration and had a great sense of humour. He touched people all around the globe. So Dennis, thank you from New Zealand for your love and support.

Dennis and his brother Steve were neighbor's in Elida.ohio.They lived right behind our house my brother and i played with him and Steve in the back yard In the early 70's. We were all in Elementery together hen through school.Foootball/Baseball/Basketball hen over at the school. He was so smart in school getting A'and B's all the time. Steve was alway's on my brothers team me and Dennis were on the same team. just the four of us . And there Mom and Dad are great people Rest in Heaven Dennis may you fly on the Wings of Eagles to be with God. Prayer's to everyone affected by this and to The Ley Family and Dennis Ley Sr and Juanita and Steve Ley very very Great people my Very Very Deepest and most Sincere Condolences . So very very sorry. So saddened to hear the news of Dennis's passing! Childhood neighbor growing up, many memories of him and Steve. Later in life our paths crossed again in the running world, what an inspiration!! My thought and prayers are with all of his family.

I have a lot of great memories of Dennis as a little boy and will treasure those memories forever. It is painful to lose a loved one but I know Dennis is in God's arms now and that gives me peace.

Dennis was one of the best men I ever had the oppurtunity to be friends/and co-workers. He was a true piller of hope and safety at crown corporation in New Bremen,he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him,my heart goes out to his family in this time of sorrow,he was a great and respected man,I will never forget him
