DERRICK ANDERSON
WAPAKONETA — Derrick R. Anderson, 25, of Wapakoneta, died Fri. evening May 15, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 14, 1989, in Lima, the son of Jeffrey W. & Marsha J. (Yost) Anderson. His mother survives in Metter, GA, and his father survives in Uniopolis.
Other survivors include, 2 daughters, Aubrey M. Anderson & Jayden Braun, his friend, Tanya Braun, a brother, Jeremy A. (Kaila) Baker, Spartanburg, SC, his grandparents, Susan K. Yost, Tifton, GA, Geraldine (Gene) Warner, Lima, Charles (Brenda) Anderson, Williamsburg, OH, His great grandfather, Robert E. Winks, Lakeview, OH, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald W. Yost.
Derrick worked as a diesel mechanic at Continental Truck Lines, Sidney. He attended Apollo J.V.S. and received an associate degree in Diesel Technology from UNOH, Lima. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, hunting, playing pool and participating in a pool league.
Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m., Tues. May 19, 2015, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, Pastor Steven Nelson officiating.
The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Tues. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may directed to a memorial fund for his daughters.
