Douglas Kantner Obituary
ST. MARYS -- Douglas Michael Kantner, (Flyby), age 45 of St. Marys, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at 8:55 pm, in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
Doug was born March 4, 1978 in St. Marys, to Robert and Nevela (Priddy) Kantner. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima. On September 23, 2016, he married Tammie Gibson who survives in St. Marys.
Survivors include his furbabies, Freddy and Lucy; his brother, Timothy (Tracy) Robert Kantner of Delphos; his grandmother, Arlene Priddy of Lima, and IBFFIB.
Doug is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon Priddy, and Norman and Jean Kantner.
He was an electrician for Area Energy & Electric out of Sidney. Doug enjoyed motorcycle riding, reading, and when he was younger, woodworking with his grandfather.
His celebration of his life will begin at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services with Frank Howard officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home. As per Doug's way of living, please dress casually for attendance.
