LIMA — Douglas Alan Weber, 67, passed away at 3:45 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born in Lima, on May 8, 1954, the son of John Richard and Mary (Derringer) Weber. Both parents have preceded him in death. On April 14, 1973, he married Mary Lyle, and she survives in Lima.
He was retired from Federal-Mogul and worked in the tool crib, and had many interests, one of them cruising, and enjoyed the sound of the waves. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mary was truly the love of his life, his best friend, and his confidant. His son Joshua (Kristen) Weber was his pride and joy, and Doug adored all his family. He was a grandfather to Jack, Darin, and Blake Weber, and Delaney, Gabby, Bella, Tayler, Julianna, and Morgan Golden. He was so proud of all his grandchildren and never let a moment go by to let them know how proud he was of them. He attended all their events, no matter what. His nieces and nephews enjoyed Doug, he dearly loved all of them, and he had a special relationship with Jeff and Rob. His cousins thought of him more as a brother, many called him "brother." He lived quite a good life, and he was quite a man.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Hanneman- Siferd Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima Ohio 45805.
