Eric Lambert

DELPHOS — Eric P. Lambert, 61, of Delphos, passed away at 2:33 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Mercy Health St. Rita's. He was born in Lima, OH on May 10, 1959, to Paul and Margaret (DeVilbiss) Lambert. They both preceded him in death. On March 11, 1994, he was united in marriage to Julie Grogg, who survives.

Eric is survived by his son, Johnathon (Amie) Lambert of Columbus; three daughters Jenna Lambert of Delphos, Emily Lambert (Matt Bailey) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jamie (Matt) Day of Ada; two sisters, Brenda Pohlman of Lima, Kim (Ted) Kill of Delphos; 5 grandchildren, Evan, Wyliam, Kennaday, Rubee, Johnathan, and by many nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David.

Eric was retired from working at local monument companies. He loved spending time with loved ones and buying them gifts. He was a carpenter at heart and loved to create. He was also a collector of many things such as silver coins and hallmark ornaments. He spent his free time having fun with radio controlled cars and Nintendo. He enjoyed baking, especially pies, with his family.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 13, 2021, at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
