LIMA — Mrs. Geraldine Edwards, age 76, passed from this life into eternal rest on June 19, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
She was born on April 22, 1945 in Lima, Ohio to Willie Mae Smith; her mother preceded her in death.
On August 28, 1986 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Percy Edwards; he survives in Lima.
Mrs. Edwards formerly worked at the Alpine Restaurant. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She loved cooking and loved being around family.
Besides her loving husband Percy, she leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Michael Smith of Lima. A brother; Billy Smith of Lima and a sister; Annie P. Stapleton of Lima. A host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Mickey Smith, a brother-in-law; Jonathan Stapleton and her step-father; J.C. Anderson.
Home Going Services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.
Visitation Wake will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until of services also at the Funeral Home.
