Gregory Kunz Obituary
DELPHOS -- Gregory A. "Turtle" Kunz, 61, of Delphos, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born on July 29, 1961, in Lima, to Norman and Charlene Sue (Stevick) Kunz. Both preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on July 11, 1980, to Sherry Stallkamp who passed away on May 8, 2020.
Greg is survived by son, Paul Wienken, of Delphos; daughters, Dawn (Wienken) Leonard of Boonville, IN and Karissa Edwards of Delphos; brother, Doug (Julie) Kunz of Cincinnati, and a sister, Linda Kunz of Delphos; grandchildren, Edward, Charles and Jack Leonard of Boonville, IN, Denver Leonard of Evansville, IN, and Cameron Lyons, Charles A. Edwards and D'Wayne Edwards of Delphos; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Milani Lyons of Lima, Devin Summers, Taluta Decker, Daelin Cris, and Destind Cris of Newburgh, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his sister, Leslie Cooper.
Greg graduated from Jefferson High School and served in the Navy from 1980-1982. He then worked for TMD retiring after many years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post #3035. Greg loved fishing and listening to music. He was often seen with his dog riding on his golf cart. His favorite times were spending time with his grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held at Harter & Schier Funeral Home on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 4-8 p.m.
