Jim worked in construction and along with his father, started Becker Builders. Among other projects, they built a refinery in Puerto Rico. His real passion was building and selling windmills for pond aeration, alongside his daughter Billie. Their windmills are even being used in Africa. Jim was a graduate of Buckland High School, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His hobbies included working, playing the guitar, collecting arrowheads, spending time with his grandkids, and listening to his 33 records. Jim was a thinker and was full of ideas and stories. He was an ornery fellow when he was younger and a determined man. Jim suffered from dementia and was trying to find his way "home". We know he is in God's hands now living his eternal life. Jim showed his orneriness when asked "How are you today Jim?" he replied "I'm mad as hell." Then he would laugh and grin.
