LIMA — Janet L. Height, 61 of Lima, passed away January 9, 2019, at her residence. Janet was born October 6, 1957 in Lima to Walter and Bernita (Cox) Delong, who preceded her in death. On February 14, 1985 she was married to Tim Height, who survives her in Lima. Janet was a graduate of Shawnee High School and she worked in the fabric department at Hobby Lobby for 18 years. Janet enjoyed cross-stitch, camping with her husband and attending festivals. In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by her sister, Beverly (Larry) Spees; sister-in-law, Marylou Delong and her dogs, Blue and Katie. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bob Delong. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, January 14, 2019 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES - EASTSIDE CHAPEL with Rev. Tim Benjamin to officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. So sorry for your loss.
I was a classmate of Janet's and like many o our classmates I haven't seen her since we graduated. I will always remember her as a very sweet person and I'm so sad to hear about her passing. May she rest in peace.
