My sister Sandy was one of Janis best friends ...they went thru nursing school together and shared an apartment after college. I met Janis quite a few times. She was a sweetheart. She could do anything, and could be found putting a new floor in her home or sewing an outfit knitting a sweater etc. She and my sister stayed friends all these years...we had hoped to come to calling hours tomorrow but I just had cataract and scope surgery and with covid still around we decided to stay home. I will be 86 soon ,so have to be careful. I am so sorry Janis is gone, but she will now join her son and others she loved. She was a special person and I send prayers to her family. Hugs, Annette Rozell and husband Roland... I am glad she is at peace now...

Such a sweet and kind lady. Always went out of her way to speak to you and give you a beautiful smile. I’m sure she is smiling and enjoying being with her son in Heaven. Prayers for comfort for her lovely family.

Janis was one of my most favorite friends' moms in high school (and after)! She was always so nice and friendly and made you feel welcomed! She had amazing sewing skills and helped me with so many of my dresses throughout my life! She loved her family and was so devoted to them; it was quite beautiful to witness throughout the years. I pray for peace and comfort over her family as they ache and grieve this enormous loss. See you again Miss Janis, xoxo
