JOHN ARNETT
LIMA — John W. Arnett, 65, died at 1:44 AM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at his residence in Lima.
John was born on Wednesday, August 25, 1948, in Lima to the late Bradley Junior Arnett and Bertha [Gibson] Arnett.
On Monday, January 3, 1994, in Lima, Ohio he married Wanda G. [Stephens] Arnett, who she survives in Lima.
John worked as a Forklift Operator at Koneta Rubber Company, Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 96 and the Eagles Aerie #370. He was a fisherman and a hunter. He was a good horsetrader.
He is survived by seven children; Jon W. (Kathy) Deal, Andy Collins, James (Susan) Arnett, Eric (Renee) Deal, Kurt Ritcher, Michele (Lorenzo) Cortes and Jennifer Ritcher; ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Survivors also include; a sister Jessie (David) Jackson; eight nieces and nephews including a close nephew, Charles Lee
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 30th at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 30th at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. John Stephens and Danny Fleischmann will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to The National Rifle Association.
