I had the privilege of working with Dr. Liggett decades ago a Sacred Heart Children's hospital. He was an astute clinician with a wonderful bedside manner and a terrific sense of humor. I have no doubt that all who knew Jack will miss him dearly.

I worked as a nurse in the Special care nursery at Mercy Health. I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Ligget was a great doctor. I believe he was the best at knowing when we had done all we could do and ship the infants to Columbus Children“s for more care to give them the best possible outcome. Fond memories of working with him. He was a professional.

So many lives were touched by this great pediatrician, I am thankful to have worked with him for many years at SRMC. He always poured his heart into his work. I enjoyed sharing root beer barrels with him to always get a smile or chuckle out of him. My sympathy to the family during this time.

Dr. Liggett was the doctor for my oldest daughter when she had pneumonia at 2 years old. He was so wonderful with answering all my questions and keeping us informed.
When my youngest was in the NICU after some issues at birth, it was Dr. Liggett that took care of her and did everything he could to find out what caused the issues. Without his persistence I am convinced we would have lost our daughter.
I am so sorry for his families loss, he was a wonderful person. Praying for his family.

Sending thoughts and prayers to Dr Liggett's family. I met Dr Liggett in the summer of 1996 when my oldest son was born with serious health issues. Dr Liggett diagnosed my son and ordered the treatments and procedures that saved his life. As a first time mother with a very ill newborn, I was so very scared. Dr Liggett came into my hospital room, explained the diagnosis and treatment and held my hand gently as I cried. His confidence in the treatment and his kind demeanor was truly a gift that day. Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Liggett for saving our son/ brother/ grandson/ nephew/ uncle (who has grown to be a kind, loving, successful young man who is getting married later this year!) and I will always remember Dr Liggett for offering a young terrified mother some comfort.
