Sorry for your loss. We always had a great time with "Big Jack's" house during our High School years. He was always supportive of concerts with his son. Always enjoyed his sense of humor.

I'm very sorry for your family's loss. I'm one of the night RN's who cared for this sweet, gentle, very interesting man! Some nights when he was awake I would walk in to check on him and he'd be grinning and talking about his boxing portrait on the wall and showed me his baseball photos. I will also remember every morning as I was finishing work he would be the first elder up, dressed, cap on, wheeling himself down the halls with a big smile and past the nurse's station, asking us "Do I look good"? I said "looking very handsome as always Jack!" We will miss him!

I met great Uncle Jack through my wife Ericka and her family 8+years ago. He immediately was a spark in my life. I knew immediately he was part of the "greatest generation " To ever live . His children are all beneficiaries of himself and his wife's Willie , most charmed prizes! He charmed me and my little girls as if they were his own! I loved him so much. I truly know that he is at peace with Willie now . Jack was the coolest most determined man I have ever met. I was honored to meet him and his loving family . I know he is dancing upstairs finally with his Willie now I love you Jack!

I very much enjoyed visiting with Jack through the years at Lima convalescent home, at church, and while working out in our yard and hearing him yell from his porch, "hey neighbor" always closed our talks with "be cool like a fool." Truly will be missed. Your friend Patrick and Samantha
