LIMA — Joseph L. Fields, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on November 19,2021, at 5:05 a.m. at Lima Convalescent Home. He was born on Sunday, May 26, 1935 in Lima, Ohio, the seventh of 15 children. His parents Eldridge Scott and Fannie (Ward) Fields, both preceded him in death.
On February 7, 1959, he was united in holy matrimony to Dorothy L. O'Day (who preceded him in death July 8, 2014). To this union they were blessed with two sons, Joseph L. Fields II, (deceased) and D. Marc (Julie) Fields of Lima.
